St. Louis de Montfort considered himself a "slave" to the Virgin Mary, and he wore chains on his arms and feet as a token of his dedication and love for her.
He recommended that those who complete the 33-day Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary and make the Act of Total Consecration should wear an outward sign as a reminder and expression of their "holy slavery" to Our Lady.
This is my modern take on the chains St. Louis de Montfort was referring to.
This bracelet is to be a reminder of the commitments made in your consecration and that you should not be ashamed of being a servant of Jesus, rejecting the bonds of the world, sin, and the devil!
*Bracelet comes with a 1/2" extender to add variety in length.
So beautiful and dainty, yet very stronge and sturdy good for everyday wear. I absolutely love it!
I love the beautiful bracelet!! It’s so dainty that is feels very feminine. It is a great bracelet for the price compared to many other catholic jewelry brands. I added a 4 way cross from etsy because I wanted a miraculous medal on my bracelet!
Such a beautiful bracelet! Every morning when I put it on I’m reminded of my commitment to give all to Jesus through Mary. Wearing this bracelet is a very simple and lovely representation of my consecration. Highly recommend buying one if you’ve done a Marian Consecration!
Exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful, simple, and perfect for daily wear. Amazing way to remember my consecration to Our Lady!
i love this bracelet, it perfectly symbolizes my Consecration to the Blessed Mother!! it’s so dainty and subtle, yet holds so much meaning!! 10/10
Even though I said “almost” perfect, I am still giving 5 stars because I like it so much. I’ve worn other consecration bracelets before but this one is just right -delicate but sturdy, and so beautiful.
I am having a little difficulty with mine currently but am confident that it will be remedied shortly!
